Surprise: There’s a new set of legendary Pokémon now live in Pokémon Go. The roving legendary dogs of Johto — Entei, Suicune and Raikou — can now be found in Raid Battles worldwide.
From today, Aug. 31, until Sept. 30, players will be able to find one of the three Pokémon on different continents. Here’s the list for which dog you can find where:
Raikou: North and South America.
Entei: Europe and Africa. Suicune: Asia-Pacific region.
On Sept. 30, the Pokémon will then move around again. They’ll be available across their new continental homes until Oct. 31, at which point they’ll move to whichever region they hadn’t already been available in.
Once that last period wraps, don’t expect the three Johto legendaries to be available again for some time, according to Niantic. They’re a limited-time deal, just like Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos and Lugia before them.
The release of the three legendary dogs is well-timed. Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver, the games in which they made their debut, are heading to Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console on Sept. 22. Pokémon Go players have plenty of time to reacquaint themselves with this highly mobile pack of rare Pokémon before then.
