Nintendo Switch owners have a lot to choose from on the eShop this week, with a total of 18 new games available as of today. The majority of these are smaller indie titles, but there are also some familiar names in the mix, like Mario Bros. and FIFA.
FIFA 18 — which is out tomorrow, Sept. 29 — marks the soccer franchise’s return to a Nintendo console after several years away. The last time Electronic Arts released a FIFA for one of Nintendo’s platforms was way back in 2014, with FIFA 15.
The rest of the new releases list features significantly cheaper titles. Arguably the most exciting of these are Picross S, a console version of the cult hit puzzle game; Arcade Archives Mario Bros., which launched yesterday as the first in a new series of arcade ports for Switch; and Golf Story, an indie role-playing game that combines the lax sport with some compelling, Game Boy Color-esque art and a full-fledged story mode.
Here’s the full list of what’s available now on Nintendo Switch eShop. Eighteen may sound daunting, but hopefully these tiny titles will help bide time until Super Mario Odysseylaunches in just one more month.
