A 45-minute Nintendo Direct airs this Wednesday

Strap in, fam

A Nintendo Direct presentation focused on upcoming Switch and 3DS games coming over the next few months will stream live this Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. ET.

The only game Nintendo confirmed will be featured as part of the 45-minute livestream isSuper Mario Odyssey, which the company will share “new details about” during the Direct. The game’s due on Oct. 27 and is easily the company’s marquee title for the fall season and leading into the holidays.

But there are several others games headed to both platforms later this year, including Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Fire Emblem Warriors and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. We’d expect those to make an appearance as well, especially considering how long this stream will run.

The Direct will air on both Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels ... as well as here on Polygon, where you can check back in to watch it with us live. We’ll also have all of the biggest news coming fresh out of the Nintendo Direct during and after the show.
