Atomega is the next game from Grow Home’s studio
It’s a multiplayer arena shooter.
Ubisoft is getting into the multiplayer arena shooter with the stylish Atomega, which will launch Sept. 19 on Steam.
Atomega is being developed by Ubisoft Reflections, which delivered Grow Home in 2015, then Grow
Up in 2016.
Atomega is an eight-player shooter in which the players’ “exoforms” can grow and evolve, from the small and fast Atom to the, you guessed it, Omega, according to the game’s Steam listing. Smaller exoforms spend their time collecting mass to grow into bigger forms, and the biggest one lasers everything with a death ray, apparently. More mass also means a higher score.
Exoforms are “super advanced post-biological lifeforms; masters of matter and energy and the last distant relative to man and machine.” The combat in the video above explains it further.
