Dragon Ball FighterZ gives series’ punching bag Yamcha a fighting chance
Give it up for Yamcha
Dragon Ball has always been about a bunch of super powerful dudes, with one glaring exception: Yamcha. The wannabe playboy has been a laughingstock among fans since the show’s earliest days, with his frequent losses and deaths the stuff of memes. But upcoming fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ looks to redeem Yamcha once and for all, based on new gameplay footage.
The trailer above shows Yamcha pulverizing Tien Shinhan, another member of Goku’s crew who’s generally known to be way more powerful than Yamcha could ever dream of being. It’s ... kind of an unbelievable sight.
