Xbox Games With Gold offers Gone Home and more in October

October 2017 looks to be a varied month for the Xbox Games With Gold program, with the list of titles for subscribers led by the acclaimed interactive adventure Gone Home.

The Console Edition of Gone Home, the debut title from Fullbright (née The Fullbright Company), is free all month long on Xbox One. If you haven’t played it yet, see why it was our top game of 2013. The other Xbox One title for the month is Bulkhead Interactive’s The Turing Test, a well-received first-person puzzle game that debuted in August 2016. It will be available free for Gold members from Oct. 16 through Nov. 15.

On the Xbox 360 backward compatibility front, Ubisoft’s high-definition remaster of 2003’s Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc will be free for the first half of October. The HD upgrade, which is known simply as Rayman 3 HD, was originally released on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in March 2012. From Oct. 16-31, subscribers will be able to download a free copy of Medal of Honor: Airborne, the paratrooper-focused entry in Electronic Arts’ long-running military first-person shooter franchise.

All four games regularly cost $19.99 on the Xbox Store, except for Rayman 3 HD, which usually goes for $9.99.

Until October rolls around, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can still download a few of the September games, including Forza Motorsport 5 and Oxenfree.
